Description
2 stroke rammers by Wacker Neuson have long been the standard in the construction industry. They are sturdy and rugged, developed for maximum productivity, performance and service life. The 2 stroke rammer offers excellent compaction performance and operating comfort that is impressive again every day. It is driven by the WM80 engine specially developed by Wacker Neuson which, thanks to its catalytic converter, falls well below all exhaust standard limits. The Plus series vibratory rammers are equipped with a separate oil lubrication system that automatically ensures the optimum mixing ratio of the fuel at all times.
Key Features
- Separate, extra large oil tank: 120 hours running time with one oil filling. (Compared with 4 stroke rammer: oil change every 100 hours.) Oil tank lid also available as lockable version (accessories). This will prevent gasoline from being accidentally poured into the oil tank at the construction site. Premixing not necessary
- Intelligent, electronic automatic low oil shutoff (2Plus vibratory rammer): If there is a low oil level, the engine can initially be started but shuts down again after a short time. If the low oil level occurs during operation, the engine shuts down automatically.
- Automatic idling shutdown: If the engine is idling, it shuts down automatically after 10 minutes. This way, emissions and fuel are saved.
- Optimized starting and operating performance: The metal spiral membrane in the carburetor allows the vibratory rammer to operate with low-grade fuel. Optimized fueling makes the vibratory rammer resistant to an excessively rich oil and gasoline mixture ratio.
- Individual setting of the carburetor: Since the carburetor is not adjusted until the engine is installed in the vibratory rammer, it offers an optimum ratio of power, fuel consumption, and low emissions.
- Optimized thermal management: The vibratory rammer's thermal management has been significantly improved by optimized cooling air flow. As a result, the vibratory rammer remains efficient even at very high outside temperatures.
- Fast travel speed: The fast travel speed allows efficient working with high surface performance.
- 2-stroke engine: The 2-stroke engine is very sturdy and was developed specially by Wacker Neuson for the tough construction applications of vibratory rammers. The simple engine design makes maintenance easy and saves replacement part costs. Even in a tilted position, the 2-stroke engine is fully functional. This way, the engine can also be started without problems if the vibratory rammer has lain on its side.
- Large stroke, high impact force: The two-stroke rammers offer high work performance, as they have a large stroke combined with high impact energy, high ramming frequency and fast travel speed.
- 4-stage air cleaner (cyclone, paper filter and 2 foam air cleaners): The quadruple air cleaner system offers very reliable filter efficiency with high capacity and thus continuously high engine output. The air cleaner housing is designed to keep dirt from falling into the air intake area when removing the filter. This protects the engine from dirt entering during maintenance. The air cleaner cover must be opened with a tool: This should prevent the cover from being opened on a dusty construction site or the filter from being completely removed by the operator to work faster. Requiring the use of a tool should ensure that the vibratory rammer is brought to the workshop for air cleaner service.
- Just one lever for starting, idling and stopping: The vibratory rammer can be operated very comfortably using just one lever. The fuel cock is integrated in the lever. The choke is automatically deactivated at full throttle.
- Slim, compact design with optimum machine center of gravity: The compact design, with its low machine center of gravity, offers tip-safe running and facilitates maneuvering, particularly in narrow trenches.
- Catalytic converter (2-stroke engine): Very low CO emissions (carbon monoxide), which are significantly lower than for the 4 stroke rammer. Due to this, problem-free application in trenches.
- Sturdy percussion system: The percussion system is equipped with damping, which makes it particularly sturdy and durable. Wear and damage to the percussion system are avoided this way.
