The powerful 8085T is equipped with a Deutz engine and the telescopic loading system allows more reach as well as stacking height. In order to continue to provide good visibility at these heights, the loading system is designed for optimum visibility. In addition, the undivided vehicle frame of this model also ensures constant payload and stability.

- Comfort cab: The comfort cab has been optimized to meet the needs of the operator and enables safe and fatigue-free working: 4-pillar design, deep-drawn windows, and panoramic rear window for optimal all-round visibility. Heating with optimized air circulation and air conditioning for constant, comfortable temperatures. Ergonomically arranged controls, new interior, and reduced vibrations and noise in the cab increase comfort for the operator. The amount of space in the cab is pioneering for vert compact wheel loaders. The air conditioning system can be integrated into the cab without additional superstructure. There is a choice between two different joysticks depending on the equipment and configuration. The coming-home lighting ensures additional comfort and safety. The cab is also suitable for taller operators, which isn't always the case for very compact wheel loaders. The pleasant working climate reduces operator fatigue. The optimized access with non-slip steps ensures that the operator can get in and out safely.
- Electronically regulated drive system: Drive and work smarter! With the electronically-controlled drive system, the machine can be driven and used as needed. Four different driving modes were implemented by Wacker Neuson specifically for this purpose. Auto mode and Eco mode are always available as standard. Either attachment mode or M-Drive mode can be optionally selected. This offers maximum flexibility for the operator as they can configure the machine according to their needs. Electronic control reduces losses in the drive system and ensures higher efficiency and increased effectiveness, compared to existing solutions. Lower power requirements enable driving at low speeds. A perfectly coordinated package of protective measures also ensures reliable and long-lasting operation of the machine.
- Electric parking brake: The electric parking brake is applied automatically when the machine is stationary, the direction of travel is set to neutral or the operator leaves the seat. The parking brake is released automatically when the machine is restarted using the accelerator pedal. This provides increased safety and comfort for the operator and their working environment. The machine can therefore be operated very efficiently thanks to the electric parking brake. The electric parking brake can also be activated or deactivated manually by pressing a switch. The operator is always in control and can work with the machine according to his own needs and preferences. The electric parking brake offers both a comfortable auto-hold and hill-hold function. This prevents the machine from rolling away unintentionally and thus increases safety when working.
- High productivity thanks to the low front carriage: The low front carriage makes high tipping loads and break out forces possible; this way, the maximum load per work cycle can be moved. The low front carriage provides for an outstanding overview of the attachment, the immediate work area and the entire surroundings of the machine, which guarantees safe working with the machine. On the WL25 and WL28, the auxiliary hydraulics on the front of the load arm are protected by piping (3rd control circuit, 4th control circuit, overflow oil line, pressureless reverse travel). In this size class of wheel loaders, this is a unique selling point. Wear is minimized, which increases the durability of the machine.

- Maximum traction thanks to articulated pendulum joint: Because of the articulated pendulum joint with 12° oscillating angle, all four wheels retain excellent traction, even on uneven ground conditions and the operator maintains optimal control. This increases the productivity of the entire machine system. The large articulation and pendulum angle ensures high traction on the ground, making the machine easy to maneuver. As a result, there is no collision between the front and rear sections of the machine in confined conditions. And because the front and rear carriages can oscillate independently of each other, the operator can sensitively react to any unevenness. This increases operator comfort and enables fatigue-free work over longer periods.
- Efficient change of attachments: Thanks to the hydraulic quickhitch system, attachments can be readily exchanged. In this way, your machine is immediately ready for use again. This increases productivity and profitability. The hydraulic quick-change system for attachments is standard on all Wacker Neuson wheel loaders. The good view of the coupling points makes changing attachments very easy. Also, changing over is particularly safe with 2-hand operation when decoupling.

The Wacker Neuson operating philosophy allows the operator to easily understand the machine, which enables him to work safely and productively. The operator can be found operating different Wacker Neuson machines, even across product groups. This is demonstrated, for example, in recurring elements such as the jog dial, joystick, display, switch assignments, etc.
- Ergonomic Joystick: The joystick fits securely and comfortably in one hand. The control is direct and sensitive at the same time. The operator therefore always has complete control over the machine and its most important functions. In addition to standard functions such as direction selection and speed setting, many other functions such as the differential lock, the 3rd and 4th control circuits, high-flow, and all electric functions can be operated via the joystick. This results in convenient one-handed operation of attachments, and the operator always has the most important functions under control. - Comfortable working environment: The efficiently designed heating and ventilation system with fan, fresh air filter and well-placed air nozzles keeps the cab in a comfortable working climate. Sufficient air nozzles are installed depending on the type of cab, which enables good air circulation and makes the working climate pleasant for the operator.
- Ventilation as required: The cabs feature large, adjustable wide-opening doors on both sides. The upper window can fold up completely and be locked. A gap ventilation is also possible. This provides fresh air in the cab even without air conditioning and increases operator comfort in warm outside temperatures. Thanks to the gap ventilation and the opening doors and windows, the driver gets fresh air in the cabin even without air conditioning. This enables fatigue-free work and reduces the stress in warm outside temperatures.
- Comfortable and ergonomic operator's seat: The operator’s seat is adjustable, ergonomically formed and well suspended. The optional air-suspended comfort seat provides even more comfortable operation conditions. A heated seat is available for cold temperatures. This increases comfort for the operator allowing them to work with the machine for longer without fatigue. Depending on the model, different seats are available to match the size of the machine. The various seat adjustment options allow individual settings for the operator, providing optimum comfort.
- Lifting arm damping: The lifting arm damping can be activated electrically and enables optimum handling of the machine on rough terrain and on the road. It is particularly recommended when the machine has to move a heavy load in the bucket or a heavy attachment over a long distance at high speed. In this case, the lifting arm damping provides more safety and comfort for the operator. Lifting arm damping prevents the machine from rocking at high travel speeds. - Hand inching (low-speed control): With the manual inching (low-speed drive system), very slow travel speeds can be achieved at constant engine speed. This offers an advantage when using attachments that are operated at constantly high rpm but at a very low travel speed at the same time. When using a sweeper, for example, the foot pedal does not have to be permanently depressed, which in turn reduces wear. - Engine option: A larger engine with 33.3 kW / 45.3 hp or 40.1 kW / 54.5 hp33.3 kW / 45.3 hp or 40.1 kW / 54.5 hp is optionally available in the WL28. These variants were developed for the professional use of power-demanding attachments. Here, emission standard stage V was implemented by installing a diesel particulate filter (DPF) in combination with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC). Urea solution (DEF) does not need to be added with this technology. The entire engine unit, including the exhaust after-treatment, comes from the same manufacturer, so that all components are perfectly coordinated, and the engine automatically regenerates at the appropriate operating temperature. It is a powerful 3-cylinder common rail engine, which impresses with its high power density.
